Russia’s best decathlete Lev Lobodin has the lead after the first day of the Russian Indoor Combined Events Championship, having compiled 3409 points in four events. 2003 World Outdoor bronze medallist Dmitriy Karpov of Kazakhstan trails slightly behind with 3461 points.
